The Simplest Home Safety App For Home Protection

Kid, parent, senior, neighbour, friend, cousin - Every person finds their place in Zuluhood security app.

Zuluhood app is based on three categories which work together to protect your home.

  1. NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH

  2. TECHNOLOGY

  3. PROFESSIONAL SECURITY

CONNECT WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Add your family, friends and neighbours in Zuluhood app. Depending on your trust level with each person, you can customize their role in your home by limiting or extending their authority (explained later on)

Specific rules are set for children.

Life always finds a way to turn highly unlikely situations into reality. That's when human reaction or observation transcends technology which is programmed for specific triggers.

UPGRADE YOUR HOME SAFETY WITH TECHNOLOGY

With busy weekly schedules, technology steps in as a friend that is always at home and doesn't require sleep.

From smartphones to smart lights all the way to smart locks and smart mowers, Zuluhood lets you use technology of your preference and connect it with the app.

HIRE A SECURITY GUARD

When it urgent, who doesn't want the experts around?

Zuluhood offers professional security services from trained personnel capable of handling and resolving escalation situations.

These professionals hold higher authority compared to civilians, providing an effective solution to prevent crime from happening on the spot.

"To hire a security guard through Zuluhood, simply go to the 'Service' tab in the app, choose from a list of security providers, and place your order or schedule it in advance. It's that easy."

CUSTOMIZE THE APP TO YOUR NEEDS

In Zuluhood, every person can find their place, including kids, parents, seniors, neighbours, friends, and cousins etc.

However, only the Home Chief (You) has control over the roles of others in home security. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about roles in Zuluhood app.

TRIBE

HOME CHIEF

This is the homeowner. This person is in charge of home security and is the one who decides who is part of the Tribe, which people are Watchers and who can raise alarms.

TRIBE MEMBER

Usually a household member or a trusted neighbour with access to personal information, ability to raise alarms, and access to Zuluchat.

CHILDREN

Children can not be Watchers. They can only be Tribe members and join Zuluhood if an adult invites them to Zuluhood. Their display differs from an adult’s and their actions can be limited (raising alarms, buying security services) by the Home Chief. Read more

WATCHERS

Can be public or private, with personal information shown to Tribe members and Home Chief.

*One home can have as many Watchers as the Home Chief needs.

PUBLIC WATCHER

This Watcher role is shown on the Zuluhood map to all the users and is open to help anyone in need. This role is best suited for a highly altruistic person who is usually described by others as a guardian of the neighbourhood.

PRIVATE WATCHER

Private Watcher isn’t shown on the Zuluhood map. Her/his personal information is hidden from the public, but shown to Tribe members and Home Chief of the home they are watching. This is usually a trusted neighbour, a family friend or a relative.

KEYHOLDER

The Home Chief’s most trusted Watcher. He/She has a spare home key. The Keyholder can be extremely important in the case of alarm monitoring. Learn more
